Is Onimusha: Way of the Sword Open World?

Is it marketed as an open-world game?

No. The current official and platform descriptions focus on sword-fighting action, the Oni Gauntlet, Genma enemies, and Kyoto. None of the checked pages uses “open world” as a product description.

That absence does not prove every detail of the map structure. It means we should not invent a label, promise free return to every location, or publish a point-of-no-return guide without direct evidence.
